THE GREEN AGENDA.

Increasingly, customers are demanding sustainable events that are environmentally friendly, ethically sound and of benefit to the economy.

BSI British Standards have introduced an accreditation, the BS 8901, which sets out the requirements for planning and managing a sustainable event.  To claim compliance with the standard, the organisers must define and implement the event sustainability policy, monitor and evaluate it against key performance indicators and eventually review the event, feeding conclusions back into the policy to positively affect future events.

Sea Change can provide a full consultation service for organisations wanting to produce a BS 8901 accredited event, or simply a list of recommendations and policies that can be followed to generally improve the sustainability of an event.
